We are a highly diversified automotive supplier. We design, develop and manufacture automotive components and industrial services. Our capabilities include the design, engineering, testing and manufacture of seating components, wire carriers, technical die cut foams, thermal and acoustic insulation, metal structures and glass bonding & assembly.
With regards of industrial services, our capabilities include the design, validation, coordination and implementation of containment actions, vehicle retrofits, campaigns and engineering liaison services; as well as bonded warehousing services and cross-docking. We export our products and services to Europe, North America, South America and Asia.
KH was initially founded in 1998 for industrial service purposes, such as assembly and warehousing operations for the automotive industry, but very soon, in 2001, the company diversified its activities developing die-cut technologies (for foams, rubbers and fabrics) and created a specially trained team to perform containment actions and engineering liaison.
In 2004, KH was named one of the favourite bonded warehouses for cross-docking and deconsolidation operations on behalf of Ford Motor Company in Europe.
In 2005, its strong determination and its “know-how” drove KH to design the most competitive & innovative assembly equipments for assembling and bonding glass components of the new Focus that was going to be built in Valencia. Since then, KH is the sole supplier for 3rd party operations on windows for Ford VLC.
The management’s spirit of expansion forced KH, in 2008, to find alternative raw materials for seat component reinforcements on the market, venturing into a totally new sector for the company (seats) and being responsible for one of the “best-seller” cars in Europe.
The year 2010 was definitively one of the most important ones in this young company’s life. At that time, KH discovered and patented a new manufacturing process to produce 2mm thick seat wires eliminating the welding points and the need for use of tooling. Nowadays KH produces the interior wiring and frames for 5% of the total European production.
During the same year, when Ford launched its worldwide known new C-MAX from Valencia, KH was elected to coordinate vehicle launch activities, containment actions and vehicle retrofits. Since then, all launches have been coordinated by KH, which was capable of implementing more than 1.000 engineering changes and coordinating an enormous workforce trained to achieve containment actions, without permitting reaction time or failures.
During the year 2013, KH developed its own R+D department, dedicating 3% of its turnover to research activities (new materials or manufacturing processes) focussing on automotive components (sealing, acoustics, comfort, strength, bonding, etc).
Since 2008, KH is part of the Valencia Automotive Cluster AVIA (www.avia.com.es)
At KH’s heart, there is a powerful entrepreneurial culture built by the owners. This factor inspires our employees with a professional attitude as well as a strong determination to succeed.
The commitment to our employees is fundamental for our continuation, which is why KH faithfully maintains the highest level of permanent employment, internal promotion programmes, continuous training and the strictest SHW surveillance programme.
By establishing a close rapport and encouraging innovation and teamwork, our employees, management and owners will continue sharing in KH’s success.
